La Herencia Mía invites you to join a thoughtfully curated group journey through Guatemala, centered around the vibrant Sumpango Giant Kite Festival and designed to connect you more deeply with the country’s culture, traditions, and landscapes. This trip is about more than sightseeing: it is an intentional experience rooted in heritage, community, and meaningful cultural exchange. What’s Included: - 9 days / 8 nights of lodging across multiple locations in Guatemala. Please note: Trip pricing is based on double occupancy. If you would like to book a private room, a private room upgrade is available for an additional cost. - A welcome dinner, farewell breakfast, and 3 meals a day during the trip - All scheduled transportation, including private airport transfers, ground transportation between destinations, and boat transfers as included in the itinerary. - All guided experiences, workshops, and cultural activities included in the itinerary. - La Herencia Mía signature trip gifts. Not included: - International airfare to/from Guatemala - Alcoholic beverages (Can be ordered every meal at your own tab) - Tips for local guides, drivers, and group trip hosts - Travel insurance (Recommended) - Meals/snacks not listed To reserve your spot: A non-refundable deposit of $500 USD is required at the time of booking. This deposit will be applied toward the total cost of the trip. Based on your needs, we can arrange a scheduled payment plan. Early-bird discount will be applied automatically at checkout - for a limited time only! Remaining balance must be paid in full 60 days before the trip departure date.

Cancellation Policy
📋 Group Trip Booking Policy Thank you for choosing to travel with La Herencia Mía. Our group trips are designed with care and intention, and we want to ensure your experience is as smooth and meaningful as possible. Please review the following policy before booking: 💵 Deposits & Payments A non-refundable deposit of $500 USD is required to secure your spot on a group trip. This deposit will be applied toward the total cost of the trip. Remaining balance must be paid in full 60 days before the trip departure date. If booking within 60 days of departure, full payment is due at the time of booking. Cancellations made more than 60 days before the trip: You may cancel, but your deposit will only be refunded for 50% of the total deposit. Cancellations made within 60 days of the trip: No refunds can be given, as accommodations and experiences will have already been confirmed on your behalf. --> We highly recommend purchasing travel insurance that covers cancellations, delays, or emergencies. 🔁 Transferring Your Spot You may transfer your spot to another eligible traveler (pending approval) up to 30 days before the trip start date. ✅ Trip Minimum & Confirmation Trips require a minimum number of participants to run. If the minimum isn’t met, you’ll be notified no later than 45 days before the scheduled start date. If the trip is canceled on our end due to low enrollment or unforeseen circumstances, your deposit and any payments made will be fully refunded or transferable to another trip with a 3% fee. 🧭 What's Included / Not Included A detailed list of what’s included (accommodation, local transport, meals, etc.) will be provided for each trip. International Flights, travel insurance, personal expenses, and optional activities are not included unless otherwise stated.
