About Us
La Herencia Mía was founded by Marielena Bravo, a Guatemalan-American who spent much of her life feeling disconnected from her roots. After marrying in the enchanting city of Antigua, she embarked on a journey to Guatemala to rediscover her heritage. To her surprise, she found a profound connection with the Guatemalan diaspora, a shared longing to rediscover their origins. This inspiring journey led to the birth of La Herencia Mía, a project dedicated to celebrating and reconnecting with their rich cultural heritage.
