Welcome to La Herencia Mia LLC (“Company,” “Agency,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). These Terms & Conditions govern all travel planning services, bookings, and transactions made with our agency.

By submitting payment to La Herencia Mia LLC, you (“Client”) acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be legally bound by these Terms & Conditions.

1. Acceptance of Terms

​

Submission of any payment, deposit, or payment authorization constitutes:

• Full acceptance of these Terms & Conditions

• A legally binding agreement

• Financial responsibility for booked services

• Waiver of conflicting verbal representations

No signature is required for enforceability.

​

2. Agency Role

​

La Herencia Mia LLC acts solely as an independent contractor and intermediary between you and third-party travel suppliers, including but not limited to:

• Airlines

• Hotels and resorts

• Transportation providers

• Activity vendors

We do not own, operate, manage, or control any third-party supplier and are not responsible for their acts, omissions, errors, negligence, delays, cancellations, overbookings, insolvency, or failure to perform.

 

3. Payments & Non-Refundable Policy

All payments made to La Herencia Mia LLC are non-refundable, including but not limited to:

• Deposits

• Planning fees

• Consultation fees

• Research fees

• Service fees

• Full trip payments

​

Funds may be immediately committed to third-party suppliers upon receipt.

Refund eligibility, if any, is subject strictly to supplier terms and is not guaranteed.

4. Client-Initiated Cancellations

​

If you cancel, postpone, modify, fail to travel, fail to complete payment, or otherwise disrupt your travel arrangements for any reason — including but not limited to:

• Illness or injury

• Personal emergencies

• Financial hardship

• Weather concerns

• Change of mind

• Work conflicts

• Failure to obtain proper documentation

• Government restrictions

• Any unforeseen circumstance

You will not be entitled to reimbursement from La Herencia Mia LLC.

Any potential refund is solely subject to the supplier’s cancellation policy.

5. Supplier Cancellations & Refund Processing

​

If a supplier cancels services:

• We will make reasonable, good-faith efforts to obtain a refund or credit on your behalf.

• Refunds are entirely subject to supplier approval and timelines.

• If a monetary refund is issued, it will be reduced by 3.5% of the original transaction amount to cover non-refundable Stripe payment processing fees.

By submitting payment, you expressly acknowledge and agree to this deduction.

We do not guarantee supplier refunds.

​

6. Chargebacks & Payment Disputes

​

You agree not to initiate a credit card dispute or chargeback for services provided in accordance with these Terms.

If a chargeback is filed and resolved in favor of La Herencia Mia LLC, you agree to reimburse:

• Chargeback fees

• Administrative costs

• Collection costs

• Reasonable legal fees

All processing fees are non-refundable.

7. Travel Insurance (Strongly Recommended)

​

Travel insurance is strongly recommended.

We recommend purchasing comprehensive travel insurance through World Nomads (www.worldnomads.com) or another reputable provider of your choosing.

Travel insurance may cover:

• Trip cancellation

• Trip interruption

• Medical emergencies

• Emergency evacuation

• Lost baggage

• Supplier default

Travel insurance is a separate contract between you and the insurance provider.

If you decline travel insurance, you assume full financial responsibility for any travel-related risks or losses.

La Herencia Mia LLC is not liable for losses that could have been covered by travel insurance.

​

8. Client Responsibilities

​

You are solely responsible for:

• Ensuring passport validity (recommended minimum six months beyond return date)

• Obtaining required visas

• Meeting vaccination and health requirements

• Providing accurate traveler information

• Reviewing confirmations upon receipt

• Arriving on time for departures

We are not responsible for denied boarding, entry refusal, additional costs, or penalties resulting from client error or non-compliance.

9. Pricing & Modifications

​

All pricing is subject to change until paid in full.

Suppliers may impose:

• Price increases

• Fuel surcharges

• Tax adjustments

• Currency fluctuations

• Government-imposed fees

​

Client-requested changes may incur additional supplier penalties and service fees.

​

10. Limitation of Liability

​

To the fullest extent permitted by law, La Herencia Mia LLC shall not be liable for any:

• Personal injury or death

• Property damage

• Financial loss

• Emotional distress

• Loss of enjoyment

• Missed connections

• Supplier default

• Acts of terrorism

• Natural disasters

• Government actions

• Public health emergencies

• Mechanical failures

Our maximum liability shall not exceed the total service fees paid directly to La Herencia Mia LLC.
 

11. Force Majeure

​

We are not liable for delays, interruptions, or failure to perform due to events beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to:

• Acts of God

• Severe weather

• War or terrorism

• Government restrictions

• Pandemics

• Labor strikes

• Transportation shutdowns

• Supplier insolvency

No refunds shall be required under Force Majeure circumstances unless provided by the supplier.

​

12. Indemnification

​

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless La Herencia Mia LLC, its owners, agents, and affiliates from any claims, damages, liabilities, losses, or expenses arising from:

• Your actions or omissions

• Breach of these Terms

• Travel-related incidents

• Supplier performance failures

13. Governing Law

​

These Terms & Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Wyoming, without regard to conflict of law principles.

Any disputes shall be brought exclusively in the courts located within the State of Wyoming.

You consent to personal jurisdiction and venue in Wyoming.

​

14. Severability

​

If any provision of these Terms is deemed unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.

​

15. Entire Agreement

​

These Terms & Conditions constitute the entire agreement between Client and La Herencia Mia LLC and supersede all prior communications, representations, or agreements.

Binding Acknowledgment

​

By submitting payment, you confirm that you:

​

• Have read and understood these Terms & Conditions

• Assume financial risk for travel disruptions.

• Understand travel insurance is strongly recommended.

• ​​Accept the 3.5% Stripe processing deduction if refunds are issued.

• Agree to Wyoming jurisdiction.
